According to a police report, officers responded to a call of a disturbance at an apartment in the Hollywood Hills at around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday. When they arrived, they found the victim, Allie Shehorn, suffering from multiple stab wounds.

Shehorn was taken to a local hospital, where she underwent surgery. She is currently in stable condition.

Pasqual was arrested at the scene and booked into jail. He is being held on $1 million bail.

If convicted on all charges, Pasqual faces a maximum sentence of life in prison.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office has filed four felony charges against Pasqual, including attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, and criminal threats.

Pasqual is scheduled to appear in court for a preliminary hearing on Wednesday.

According to court documents, Pasqual and Shehorn had been dating for about a year. They broke up in April, but Pasqual continued to call and text Shehorn, despite her requests that he stop.

On Saturday night, Pasqual went to Shehorn's apartment uninvited. He began arguing with her, and then allegedly stabbed her multiple times.

Shehorn managed to escape from the apartment and call for help.

Pasqual's attorney, Martin Singer, said his client is innocent of the charges.

"Mr. Pasqual is a peaceful and nonviolent person," Singer said. "He was acting in self-defense when Ms. Shehorn attacked him."

The trial is expected to begin in the fall.
