Adrian Martinez, the former Nebraska and Kansas State quarterback, has set the UFL ablaze with his stellar performances for the Birmingham Stallions. The quarterback has been a key factor in the Stallions' undefeated 6-0 start, cementing their position as the frontrunner in the league.
In an interview with RJ Young on "The No. 1 College Football Show with RJ Young," Martinez revealed the secret behind his recent success in Birmingham's offense. The quarterback emphasizes the team's adaptability, stating, "We want to take what the defense is giving us."
If the opposition chooses to defend against the ground game, Martinez and the Stallions shift their focus to the passing game, capitalizing on the talents of the team's renowned receivers like Deon Cain, Kevin Austin Jr., and Jace Sternberger. Conversely, when teams opt to play back in coverage, Martinez and the Stallions exploit the running lanes, demonstrating the offense's versatility.

Before joining the Stallions, Martinez played for the Nebraska Cornhuskers from 2018-21 and the Kansas State Wildcats in 2022. He transferred to Birmingham after recovering from a knee injury that cut short his season with the Wildcats.
