Biden's Border Policies Blamed for 12-Year-Old's Murder

Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick has condemned President Biden's immigration policies following the brutal murder of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray, accusing him of allowing "animals" into the country and putting families in danger.

Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick has launched a scathing attack on President Biden's immigration policies, holding him responsible for the murder of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray. The young girl was allegedly killed by two illegal immigrants from Venezuela, a crime that Patrick attributes to the Biden administration's failure to secure the southern border.

"If Joe Biden had any compassion at all for this family or the families of Laken Riley or Rachel Morin and others who have been killed… he would secure the border on Thursday, the day of [Nungaray's] funeral," Patrick declared on "America's Newsroom."

Patrick described the brutal nature of Nungaray's murder, stating that she "was tortured, she was strangled, and she was thrown in the river like a rag doll." He implored Americans to recognize the gravity of the situation, emphasizing that such crimes could befall anyone.

"There are animals roaming this country today because of Joe Biden, and these three women I just named would all be alive today – today – if it weren't for Joe Biden. The blood is on his hands," Patrick asserted.

The prosecutors in the case have charged two illegal immigrants, Johan Jose Rangel Martinez, 21, and Franklin Jose Pena Ramos, 26, with capital murder. Pena Ramos allegedly entered the United States illegally in May and was released into the country with a Notice to Appear in court. Rangel Martinez also crossed the border illegally in March and was released on an unknown basis.

Pena Ramos was wearing an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) ankle bracelet at the time of the crime, a fact that Nungaray's grandfather, Kelvin Alvarenga, highlighted. The District Attorney for Harris County, Kim Ogg, described Houston as a "huge international hub" that attracts both victims and perpetrators of violence from various backgrounds.

"Unfortunately, we see a great deal of violence committed by illegal immigrants, and we see as many victimized by other illegals and regular people here. It’s an enormous problem. This was bound to happen," Ogg stated.

Patrick urged former President Trump to confront Biden at the upcoming CNN Presidential Debate about the consequences of his border policies. He believes Biden has a moral obligation to acknowledge the victims and their families and to take immediate action to prevent further tragedies.

"I would ask President Biden, ‘can you tell me who Rachel Morin is? Can you tell me who Jocelyn is? Can you tell me who Laken Riley is?’ And Joe Biden has a choice. He could either say, ‘Yes, there are three people who should be alive today except for my border policies,' or, ’I don't know who they are,'" Patrick said.

Nungaray's mother, Alexis Nungaray, expressed her anguish and the urgent need for stricter border enforcement. "We have to stop burying our kids," she said. "This isn’t right. We have to have more reinforcement when it comes to letting people in. This is not okay."

The murder of Nungaray has sparked outrage and renewed calls for the Biden administration to address the border crisis and implement measures to protect American citizens. Patrick and other critics argue that the current policies are putting lives at risk and need to be overhauled.
