All eyes will be on Broncos quarterback Bo Nix, who will be making his NFL regular season debut. Nix impressed in the preseason for the Broncos, completing 24 of 35 passes for 290 yards and two touchdowns, with no interceptions. He also rushed for 39 yards and a touchdown.

The Broncos are hoping that Nix can provide a spark to an offense that struggled last season. Denver finished 31st in the NFL in total offense in 2022, averaging just 309.5 yards per game.

Nix will have his work cut out for him against a Seahawks defense that ranked 10th in the NFL in yards allowed per game last season. Seattle also boasts a talented pass rush, led by Pro Bowl defensive end Nick Bosa.

However, the Broncos' offense has some promising pieces to work with, including running back Javonte Williams, wide receiver Courtland Sutton, and tight end Greg Dulcich.

On the other side of the ball, the Broncos' defense will be tasked with containing Seahawks quarterback Drew Lock, who spent his first three NFL seasons with Denver. Lock had a breakout performance in the preseason, completing 30 of 41 passes for 315 yards and three touchdowns.

The Seahawks also have a talented running back in Kenneth Walker III, who rushed for 1,089 yards and nine touchdowns as a rookie in 2022.

The Broncos' defense is led by safety Justin Simmons and cornerback Patrick Surtain II, who both earned Pro Bowl honors last season.

The Seahawks' defense will be without All-Pro cornerback Jamal Adams, who suffered a season-ending injury in the preseason.

The Broncos are 1-point favorites to win the game, according to DraftKings Sportsbook. The over/under is set at 42 points.

Kickoff is scheduled for 2:05 p.m. MT on Sunday. The game will be televised on CBS.
