Country music singer Carly Pearce has revealed that she has been diagnosed with a heart condition called pericarditis. Pericarditis is an inflammation of the pericardium, the thin tissue that surrounds the heart. It can cause sharp chest pain, shortness of breath, and other symptoms.

Pearce shared the news in a video posted to her Instagram account on Thursday. She said that she has been experiencing chest pain and other symptoms for several weeks and that doctors have diagnosed her with pericarditis.

"I've been working with doctors and talking to my cardiologist and I still want to be out on the road; it's really important to me, but we have all decided that it is in my best interest as I am healing to alter my shows a little bit," Pearce said in the video.

Pearce, 32, is currently on tour with Tim McGraw. She said that she will continue to perform on the tour, but that she will be making some changes to her set in order to keep her heart rate under control.

"So, if my shows look a little bit different, just know it's because I have to keep my heart rate under control right now and that doesn't mean that I'm not gonna be completely fine, it just means right now I've gotta really take this seriously," Pearce said.

Pearce is a health and fitness enthusiast, and she said that she was shocked to be diagnosed with a heart condition. She said that she takes care of her body and exercises regularly, so she was not expecting to have any health problems.

"I'm a young, healthy person that really watches what I eat and exercises and this happened to me," Pearce said. "So, I just want to use my platform to tell you to take care of your body and listen to it and just know that if it's trying to tell you something, it's going to tell you."

Pearce is a rising star in country music. She has released three albums and has won several awards, including the CMA Award for Female Vocalist of the Year in 2021. She is known for her powerful vocals and her honest storytelling.

Pearce's fans have been sending her messages of support and encouragement on social media. They are wishing her a speedy recovery and are looking forward to seeing her back on stage soon.

Pearce is scheduled to perform at the Grand Ole Opry on Friday night. She will continue on the "Standing Room Only" tour with Tim McGraw through June.
