Fox News contributor Joe Concha gave Dana Bash a D- for her interview with Vice President Kamala Harris, citing her lack of pushback against Harris's dodging of questions.

During the interview, Harris insisted she had made her positions on fracking "clear," despite making complete reversals on far-left positions she held in 2019. Bash acknowledged Harris was dodging questions but defended her approach, saying that she "can't force somebody to answer a question."

Concha, however, argued that Bash should have been more aggressive in her questioning, especially given that Harris's changing positions on fracking could affect potential voters.

"Dana Bash gave Kamala Harris a softball interview," Concha said. "She didn't ask any tough questions and let Harris get away with dodging questions about her record on fracking."

Bash defended her approach, saying that she "tried to get more into the nitty-gritty and get the answer" but that Harris "wasn't willing to give a straight answer."

"I can't force somebody to answer a question," Bash said. "And I think it's important to remember that this was Harris's first official interview since becoming the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee. She was likely trying to be careful not to say anything that could hurt her campaign."

Concha, however, argued that Bash should have been more aggressive in her questioning, especially given the importance of the issue of fracking.

"Fracking is a major issue for many voters," Concha said. "And Harris's changing positions on the issue could cost her votes in the general election."
