Ex-NFL Pro Bowler Rips Airport Security: "A Scam" and "Sexual Assault

Former Super Bowl champion T.J. Ward launched a scathing attack on airport security, calling it "a scam" and accusing TSA agents of "sexual assault."

Ex-NFL Pro Bowler Rips Airport Security:

Former NFL safety T.J. Ward, a three-time Pro Bowler who spent eight seasons in the league, has sparked outrage with a series of scathing tweets criticizing airport security.

Ward took to X on Friday to vent his frustrations after an unpleasant experience at an airport. "The airport is a scam. TSA is a scam," he wrote. "All these rules for nothing."

Ex-NFL Pro Bowler Rips Airport Security:

The former Cleveland Browns and Denver Broncos star shared his most disturbing complaint, alleging that he feels sexually assaulted every time he flies.

"I have a weapon in my draws (sic) every time I fly, if you ask that stupid machine," Ward posted. "No those are just my man parts. Now I gotta get SA'd [sexually assaulted]."

Ward's accusation drew immediate attention and raised concerns about the excessive and invasive nature of TSA screenings.

Ward also expressed frustration over being subjected to additional screenings after clearing the initial security machines. "Sick of it! Domestic terror and we worried about my b--- sack," he wrote.

In a less serious but still irksome complaint, Ward criticized the disparity in rules regarding liquids.

"Oh and don’t forget. You can bring your babies water through. But the one your (sic) drinking can’t come through. WTF?!" he posted.

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is responsible for ensuring the safety of passengers on flights by screening for prohibited materials and explosives.

While the agency's mission is crucial, Ward's allegations raise concerns about the balance between security and civil liberties.

Ward, a second-round draft pick by the Browns in 2010, played in 107 regular season games over eight seasons. He earned second-team All-Pro honors in 2013 and helped the Broncos win Super Bowl 50 in 2015.

Ward's tweets ignited a heated debate on X, with many users expressing support for his criticisms while others defended TSA's procedures.

The incident highlights the ongoing need for a dialogue between the public and security agencies to find a balance between safety and respect for individual rights.
