Crooks is alleged to have fired upon rally-goers from the rooftop of a building approximately 160 yards away from where Trump was speaking. The gunfire resulted in the death of 50-year-old Corey Comperatore, a former Buffalo Township fire chief, and the injuries of two others identified as David Dutch, 57, and James Copenhaver, 74.

Secret Service agents responded with gunfire, fatally striking Crooks while he was still on the rooftop.
