Riley Gaines, a former NCAA champion swimmer and victim of unfair competition against a transgender athlete, has issued a dire warning to American voters, asserting that a vote for Vice President Kamala Harris is a vote against the future of their daughters.
Appearing on Fox News Channel's "Jesse Watters Primetime," Gaines expressed her outrage over the Paris Olympics boxing controversy, which allowed an Algerian boxer with male chromosomes to fight against women. She condemned the silence from Harris and other prominent female figures on the issue.

"Crickets from Kamala, crickets from the women at 'The View.' And if I could implore you, a vote for Kamala is a vote against your daughter's future," Gaines declared. "I see lots of people on social media saying they'll be voting for Kamala because she is a woman. Well, let me tell you, Jesse, I will be voting for Trump because I am a woman."
Gaines, who was forced to race against and share a bathroom with a transgender female competitor during her NCAA career, argued that Harris's stance on transgender athletes in sports and other issues poses a threat to women's rights.

The controversy surrounding boxer Imane Khelif, who was deemed to have male chromosomes in 2023, highlighted the potential dangers of allowing biological males to compete against women. Khelif's victory over Italy's Angela Carini, leaving her in tears, sparked widespread outrage and raised concerns about the fairness and safety of women's sports.
Despite the controversy, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) cleared Khelif to compete against women, a decision that Gaines and many others believe undermines the integrity of the sport.

"This is not about hate," Gaines emphasized. "This is about protecting women's sports. This is about protecting women's rights. And if Kamala Harris is going to stand behind this, then she is standing against women."
Gaines's warning comes amidst growing concerns about the erosion of women's rights in the face of transgender activism. Many believe that allowing biological males to compete against women in sports, use female bathrooms, and be recognized as women undermines the hard-fought progress made by women's rights advocates.
"The stakes are too high," Gaines said. "We cannot sacrifice the future of our daughters for political correctness."
Gaines urged voters to carefully consider the consequences of their vote for Vice President Harris. She believes that a vote for Harris is a vote for policies that will harm women and girls for generations to come.
"If you care about the future of your daughters, if you care about women's sports, if you care about women's rights, then you cannot vote for Kamala Harris," Gaines concluded. "The choice is clear. Vote for Trump. Vote for women."
