Former President Donald Trump and the Republican Party continue to thwart challenges waged by the Democratic Party as the election season draws near, according to Wyoming's secretary of state, Chuck Gray.
Gray, who has been on the frontlines battling Democrats' attempts to remove Trump from election ballots, asserted that the GOP and the former president have emerged victorious despite concerted efforts to tie them up in court cases and prevent their names from appearing on the ballot.

"We just see time and time again, the left trying to weaponize government against conservatives, and I think people are seeing through it," Gray told Fox News Digital. "One of the many achievements of Trump, and there are so many, is that he's really shown the American people just how out of control the mainstream media is and their alliance with the Democrats."
Gray cited the dismissal of Trump's classified documents case in Florida on Monday and the Supreme Court rulings in March and this month, which prevented his removal from ballots and granted him broad immunity from prosecution, respectively.

"He's come through it, and we are going to continue to come through it here, as we're about under 110 days, 115 days from the election," Gray stated.
Gray highlighted the stakes of the 2024 election, emphasizing the potential risks to the country if Democrats were to gain control. He pointed to the Biden administration's plans to restrict energy initiatives in Wyoming, which he said would devastate the state's economy.

"The country is on the line," Gray asserted.
Gray also praised Trump's choice of Ohio Sen. JD Vance as his running mate, calling it an "inspired" decision. He described Vance as "America First through and through" and someone who will resonate with grassroots conservatives.

Gray witnessed firsthand the enthusiasm at the Republican National Convention when Trump made his first appearance since his assassination attempt on Saturday. He described the energy as "electric" and "historic."
"Last night was just electric across the floor and in the Wyoming delegation," Gray said. "Just having President Trump there, that was a historic moment, President Trump coming to the floor. And then also the VP nomination. … And I think we all see that our country is on the line in this 2024 election."
