According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), rabies is a severe illness that is nearly always fatal if not promptly treated. The virus attacks the central nervous system, leading to symptoms such as delirium, unusual behavior, hallucinations, hydrophobia (fear of water), insomnia, and eventually coma and death.

Rabies treatment involves administering human rabies immune globulin (HRIG) and a series of four or five rabies vaccines as soon as possible following exposure, according to the CDC.

Momsen rozpoczęła karierę aktorską w dzieciństwie, zdobywając przełomową rolę Cindy Lou Who w "Grinch: Świąteczna opowieść" z 2000 roku, z Jimem Carreyem w roli głównej.
