As honorary mayor for a day, Fieri presided over a City Council meeting and took part in various town events. "My dad says, 'When I die, you can expect that I'm going to die broke, and you're going to be paying for the funeral,'" Fieri recalled his father's advice.
Fieri's eldest son, Hunter, is following in his father's footsteps, working with him on various projects and pursuing a career in television. Fieri praised Hunter's accomplishments, including his own Food Network contract and his success as a top salesman for the family wine brand, Hunt & Ryde.

He has lost 30 pounds since 2020 through portion control, intermittent fasting, and high-intensity interval training (HIIT).
