Hannity: Biden Is Not in Charge, Media Complicit in Cover-Up

Fox News host Sean Hannity accuses the media of feigning outrage at President Biden's debate performance, claiming they are "complicit" in a "cover-up" of his cognitive decline.

Fox News host Sean Hannity launched a scathing attack on the media and Democrats, accusing them of hypocrisy and complicity in covering up President Biden's cognitive decline.

"The charade, the cover-up, the corruption, the lying is now officially over," Hannity declared on his show. "They're pointing fingers, and they're blaming and acting as if they were not complicit, which is a joke."

Hannity argued that Biden's cognitive impairment has been evident for years, but the media has ignored or downplayed it.

"Joe Biden is not in charge at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. He's not calling the shots. He's not making the decisions," Hannity asserted. "In fact, Joe has been a cognitive wreck from before he was even sworn in."

Hannity cited numerous examples of Biden's struggles, including his frequent gaffes, difficulty with coordination, and limited public appearances.

"For three years, he barely did any press conferences or other unscripted events. He did very few sit-down interviews. They were few and far between. He struggled to walk with an unusual shuffle, barely getting his feet off the ground," Hannity said.

Hannity also criticized the media for dismissing concerns about Biden's well-being, accusing them of trying to "gaslight" Americans into believing that his struggles were not real.

"Again, those very real videos were unedited and this is only a couple of weeks ago," Hannity said, referring to recent videos of Biden stumbling and appearing lost.

Hannity placed the blame for the situation on a "cabal of Biden enablers and liars" and "state-run media lying and covering up."

"Now, this isn't a choice between Trump and Biden," Hannity said. "Instead, you will decide and need to decide whether we have a constitutional republic for the people, by the people. Or will a cabal of Biden enablers and liars and state-run media lying and covering up and far-left unelected deep state bureaucrats, continue to run this country into the ground with Biden or some other Democrat as their front person?"

Hannity's comments echoed concerns raised by other conservative commentators, who have questioned Biden's fitness for office and accused the media of bias in covering his decline.

However, the accusations of a cover-up have been met with skepticism by many, who point to Biden's efforts to address the COVID-19 pandemic, the passage of major legislation, and other accomplishments as evidence of his cognitive abilities.
