In a fiery segment on "Hannity," Hannity highlighted how Harris and Walz have avoided the press and off-script situations since their nominations. He argued that they have been reading their speeches from scripts, likely written by others, and have refused to take any questions from reporters.

"There are no interviews, no press conferences, no town halls, no impromptu gaggles, no television hits, no appearances, not even on friendly venues like MSNBC, which is pretty much most of the media," Hannity said.
He pointed out that Harris has only gone off script once since her nomination, for a 30-second word salad about the return of American hostages.
"Neither Kamala nor Tim have been asked about their radical positions, them in their own words, the alleged subsequent flipping and flopping," Hannity added. "But we don't even know for sure if they flipped and flopped because we only heard that from their campaign. That was only after Harris was the presumptive Democratic nominee. That's called an 'election-year conversion' by every definition."
Hannity accused the media of giving Harris and Walz a "honeymoon" and urged them to demand answers from the politicians.
"Stop giving her a honeymoon," Hannity said. "Start grilling her on her policies. Start grilling her on her positions. Find out who's really behind her campaign. Find out who's calling the shots."
Hannity's comments come as Harris and Walz face growing scrutiny for their progressive policies. Harris has been criticized for her support of Medicare for All, the Green New Deal, and defunding the police. Walz has been criticized for his support of abortion rights, gun control, and paid family leave.
The two politicians have also been accused of flip-flopping on their positions. Harris has been criticized for changing her stance on fracking, criminal justice reform, and immigration. Walz has been criticized for changing his stance on abortion, taxes, and education.
