Hannity Slams Biden and Harris for Lack of Response to Hurricane Helene

Fox News host Sean Hannity criticized the Biden administration's response to Hurricane Helene, calling it "complete and total devastation" and accusing the president and vice president of being "missing in action."

Fox News host Sean Hannity launched a scathing attack on the Biden administration over its handling of Hurricane Helene, accusing the president and vice president of being "shamed" into action after former President Donald Trump visited the devastated areas.

"Complete and total devastation from Hurricane Helene across Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Virginia," Hannity said on his show. "Entire towns were literally wiped out by floodwaters as the death toll continues to rise with hundreds still missing tonight."

Hannity contrasted the administration's response with Trump's visit to Valdosta, Georgia, where the former president witnessed the devastation firsthand and met with disaster relief specialists.

"Now, noticeably missing on the ground, the current president, Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris," Hannity said. "Now, Kamala ... spent the weekend on the West Coast where she attended a very glitzy fundraiser in Los Angeles with her Hollywood friends."

"What have I been saying? The Democratic Party today is now a party of coastal elites—Hollywood, New York, D.C. Republicans are now the party of the hard-working men and women, the people that really make this country great," he continued.

Hannity also criticized Harris for posting a "staged picture" on social media pretending to care about the affected communities while Biden spent the weekend at the beach in Delaware.

"Kamala did, however, find the time to post a staged picture on X at least pretending to care about the people in the Southeast. Joe Biden ... spent all weekend at the beach in Delaware claiming to be on his phone, but we know he was relaxing," Hannity said.

"They said that Joe was on his phone a lot, managing the disaster recovery from afar. Well, I'm here to tell you, this was a Category 4 hurricane. It was a disaster. And where was the president? He was at the beach," he added.

Hannity concluded by accusing the Biden administration of failing to provide leadership in the aftermath of the hurricane.

"This is what happens when you elect incompetent people who don't care about the American people," he said. "They are more concerned with their own political agendas and their own self-interests than they are with the well-being of this country."
