Hillary Clinton has expressed her frustration and concern over the Supreme Court's delay in deciding on Donald Trump's immunity claim, arguing that the court is doing a "grave disservice" to the nation. In an interview on Thursday, Clinton lamented the postponements in Trump's various court cases and warned that these delays could have significant repercussions for the upcoming election.

"Justice delayed is justice denied," Clinton declared during her interview on MSNBC. "The people in our country, it looks as though, will most likely go to vote without knowing the outcome of these other very serious trials."

Clinton's criticism stemmed from the Supreme Court hearing oral arguments in April on whether Trump was immune from prosecution in Special Counsel Jack Smith's election interference case. However, the justices have yet to issue a ruling, leaving the matter unresolved.

The former Democratic presidential candidate expressed her dismay over the court's inaction, asserting that the charges against Trump are "very serious" and warrant a timely resolution. She denounced the efforts by Trump's legal team to find loopholes and create opportunities for him to evade accountability for his actions.

"I read the excellent decision by the court of appeals," Clinton stated. "The judges there, I think, covered every possible argument. What we heard when this case was tried before the Supreme Court, to my ear at least, were efforts to try to find loopholes, to try to create an opportunity for Trump to have attempted to overturn an election, to have carried out hundreds and hundreds of pages of very highly classified material for his own amusement, interest, trading, we don’t know what."

Clinton emphasized the gravity of the charges against Trump, arguing that any American accused of such serious offenses should face the full force of the law, regardless of their position or affiliation. She expressed concern that the delays in his cases could erode public trust in the justice system and undermine the credibility of the upcoming election.

"That should cause any voter to think not twice, but many, many times over about whether we should entrust our country to him," Clinton asserted.

Clinton also expressed disappointment with the current political landscape, where voters are forced to choose between Trump and President Biden, both of whom are advanced in age. She lamented the lack of younger and more dynamic candidates, suggesting that the nation deserves better options.

"We have two old candidates," Clinton remarked. "One is, yes, old and effective, has passed legislation, that I think is going to put America on such a strong footing for the future, is compassionate, cares about people, tries hard to make the right decision. The other is old and dangerous. I mean, why is that a hard choice for people?"

Clinton's comments underscore the ongoing controversies surrounding Trump's legal battles and the potential implications for the 2024 election. The Supreme Court's decision on Trump's immunity claim is expected to have a profound impact on the outcome of these cases and could further shape the political landscape in the years to come.
