As the largest and most influential minority group in the United States, Hispanics hold immense sway in shaping the nation's political landscape. However, for far too long, Democratic ideologies have failed to truly represent our values and aspirations. It is time for a change, and the Republican Party stands as the beacon of that change.

Republican values resonate deeply with the Hispanic community. Our unwavering belief in hard work, faith, family, and country aligns perfectly with the bedrock principles upon which the Republican Party is built. This reality is evident in Miami, my home district, which is a microcosm of Hispanic diversity and values.

The Republican message on key issues, such as the economy, immigration, and community safety, resonates powerfully with Hispanic voters. Democratic economic policies have left our communities reeling, with inflation soaring and groceries and gas prices skyrocketing. Republican economic policies, on the other hand, prioritize job creation, tax cuts, and a balanced budget, ensuring a prosperous future for all Americans.

Immigration is another area where Democratic policies have failed our communities. The Biden-Harris administration's open borders approach and failure to secure our borders have allowed dangerous gangs and other criminal elements to take root in our cities. Republican policies, such as enhanced border security and a focus on legal immigration, will restore safety to our communities and protect Hispanic families from the scourge of drug cartels and human traffickers.

Community safety is paramount for Hispanic families. Republican policies address this concern head-on, supporting law enforcement and taking a tough stance on crime. In contrast, Democratic policies, such as defunding the police and reducing penalties for criminals, have emboldened criminals and made our communities less safe.

The Republican Party's embrace of these values has attracted a growing number of Hispanic voters to its ranks. President Trump's increasing support among Hispanic voters is a testament to this shift. In fact, he could become the first Republican in history to win a majority of the Hispanic vote.

This demographic shift is not limited to Republican strongholds. In traditionally Democratic strongholds like my own district in Miami-Dade County, Hispanic support for Republican candidates is on the rise. My election as the only Republican holding a Democratic congressional seat outside of California outside California is a testament to this change.

As we approach the 2024 election, it is clear that Hispanic voters will play a pivotal role. Our values, aspirations, and shared experiences have led many to find a new home in the Republican Party. The Republican Party welcomes Hispanic voters with open arms and recognizes the immense contributions they make to our nation. We are proud to stand side by side with Hispanic Americans as we build a brighter future for all.
