HoYoverse is preparing to launch the v7.8 update for Honkai Impact 3rd, dubbed "Planetary Rewind." The latest patch will go live on October 17th, introducing a plethora of in-game goodies that will keep players enthralled.
One of the main highlights of the update is the introduction of the Lone Planetfarer battlesuit, a MECH-type character who wields Lightning DMG. Players can seamlessly switch between Lone Traveler form and Planet Quaker form based on their strategic preferences.

Upon completing the main story content, players can acquire Crystals, Seele's event stigma, Source Prisms, and a Weapon Option.
In addition to the new battlesuit and storyline, the update brings an array of in-game events and rewards. Players can participate in a login event to earn Equipment Supply Card x10 and Prism Stigma Direct Level-Up Coupon x1, among other valuable items.
The v7.8 update also marks the start of the Ten Shus War, an intense battle event that will test the combat prowess of players.
Furthermore, HoYoverse has teased an upcoming crossover event between Honkai Impact 3rd and Honkai: Star Rail, scheduled to take place on November 28th. No further details about this crossover have been revealed at this time.
