Hoyoverse’s popular action RPG Honkai Impact 3rd is gearing up for its v7.8 update, Planetary Rewind, which will introduce a slew of new content including a new battlesuit, Divine Keys, and a fresh narrative. The update will go live on October 17th.
The v7.8 update will introduce a new MECH-type battlesuit, Lone Planetfarer. This Lightning DMG dealer can switch between two forms, Lone Traveler and Planet Quaker, to adapt to different combat situations.

The v7.8 update will introduce a new narrative, "The First and Last War," which follows Dreamseeker, Helia, and Coralie across time in an ancient Langqiu. Players will explore this ancient world and uncover its secrets.
As with every major update, the v7.8 update will feature a login event where players can earn various rewards, including Equipment Supply Card x10 and Prism Stigma Direct Level-Up Coupon x1.
The v7.8 update will also tease an upcoming crossover event with Honkai: Star Rail, which is set to take place on November 28th. Details of the crossover will be revealed at a later date.
