HoYoverse has announced the upcoming launch of Honkai: Star Rail's Version 2.4 update, set to arrive on July 31st. The update introduces a brand-new map called The Shackling Prison, along with new characters, reruns, and a Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] anime crossover.

The Xianzhou Luofu is an ancient and mysterious celestial palace, said to be the workplace of Xueyi and Hanya. In Version 2.4, players will be able to explore this vast and intricate map, unraveling its secrets and encountering new challenges.
Honkai: Star Rail's Version 2.4 Update Unveils a New Map and Characters
Alongside the new map, Version 2.4 will also introduce two new characters to the Honkai: Star Rail roster: Yunli and Jiaoqiu. Yunli is a skilled swordswoman and a member of the Xianzhou Luofu, while Jiaoqiu is a mysterious and enigmatic being with a past shrouded in secrecy.
Version 2.4 will also see the return of two popular characters from Honkai: Star Rail's previous updates: Sparkle and Huohuo. Both characters will be available through reruns during the update period, giving players a chance to add them to their teams.
Additionally, Honkai: Star Rail will host a crossover event with the popular anime Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works]. Details of the crossover have yet to be revealed, but players can expect to see some familiar faces from the anime series appearing in the game.
To celebrate the launch of Version 2.4, HoYoverse has launched a special fan creator event within HoYoFair 2024. The event, titled "Games of the XXXIII Galactics" Honkai: Star Rail Art Challenge, invites players to submit space-themed character designs and animated shorts.
Participants have the chance to win cash prizes, Wacom Movink 13 pen displays, Clip Studio Paint EX licenses, gift cards, and more. Submissions will be judged on their creativity, artistic skill, and originality.
