The Indiana Fever will open their home season on Sunday, June 2, as they host the New York Liberty at the Barclays Center. The Fever, who currently sit at 2-8, will be looking to improve their record and continue their development under first-year head coach Marianne Stanley.

The Liberty, meanwhile, are coming off of a 10-24 season, but they have made some significant changes to their roster in the offseason. They have added former Fever star Victoria Vivians, as well as free agents Natasha Howard and Crystal Dangerfield.

The Fever and Liberty have met twice already this season, with the Liberty winning both games. However, the Fever have shown signs of improvement in recent weeks, and they will be looking to get their first win over the Liberty this season.

"We're excited to be back home and to open our home season," Stanley said. "We've been working hard in practice, and we're ready to show our fans what we can do."

The Fever will be led by forward Breanna Stewart, who is averaging 20.3 points and 9.8 rebounds per game this season. She will be supported by guard Kelsey Mitchell, who is averaging 16.5 points per game.

The Liberty will be led by guard Sabrina Ionescu, who is averaging 17.5 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 6.5 assists per game this season. She will be supported by forward Natasha Howard, who is averaging 16.3 points and 10.2 rebounds per game.

The game is scheduled to tip-off at 7 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on MeTV/NBA TV.
