The survey, conducted among 1,000 likely voters from August 25-28, found that 36% of respondents have a favorable view of Vance, while 48% approve of Walz.
Despite his lower favorability ratings, Vance has adopted a media blitz strategy, accepting interviews with outlets seen as hostile to the Trump campaign. In contrast, Walz and Harris have faced criticism for their relative lack of media transparency.

Harris and Walz have only conducted one joint, pre-recorded interview with CNN's Dana Bash, while Trump and Vance have engaged in at least 38 combined interviews since Harris announced Walz as her running mate.
Vance has been particularly critical of Harris for dodging the press, accusing her of being afraid to face tough questions. He has argued that her claims are "absurd" and that Americans don't believe them.

"Kamala Harris is trying to sell us a bill of goods, but Americans aren't buying it," Vance said during an appearance on Fox News' "The Ingraham Angle." "Her claims are absurd, and her record is full of broken promises."
Harris has defended her record, arguing that she has been focused on delivering results for the American people. She has also accused Vance of engaging in personal attacks and smears.
