However, celebrity matchmaker Alessandra Conti believes that Miller may not be fully comfortable with the level of support Garner provides Affleck, especially in light of his recent divorce from Jennifer Lopez. "There have been reports that he's been uncomfortable with the type of relationship that Ben and Jen have," Conti told Fox News Digital.
These concerns stem from anonymous sources, but Conti believes that they hold weight. "We don't know who these anonymous sources are," she said, "However, it is a red flag that there have been a lot of insiders coming out about his nonsupport of the very special relationship that Ben and Jen have."

Conti expressed hope that Miller would rise to the occasion and realize Garner's need for his support, especially as she steps up to help Ben. "She's a very strong woman," Conti said of Garner. She also commended Garner for maintaining a strong value system and being a supportive partner. "Ben is so lucky to have her."

Garner and Affleck's relationship began on the set of "Pearl Harbor" in 2000, but they maintained a professional distance as she was married to actor Scott Foley. However, in 2015, they announced their separation and finalized their divorce in 2018.
In 2018, Garner began dating Miller, a businessman who was previously married to violinist Caroline Campbell. Conti noted that Garner and Miller's relationship is "one of the most elusive relationships in Hollywood." Miller has not publicly posed with Garner at any events, a move that Conti believes sends a negative message.

"He hasn't even posed with her publicly in any of the events that they've been to," Conti said. Conti compared Garner's relationship with Miller to Taylor Swift's relationship with actor Joe Alwyn. While Alwyn supports Swift's success, Miller's secrecy suggests a lack of support. "It's giving nonsupport. It's giving unsupportive."
