Sharon Reed, a 77-year-old retired teacher from Pennsylvania, said, "It was all disappointing." She added, "She still has to impress me."

Samira Ali, a 19-year-old college student from Wisconsin, echoed these sentiments, saying, "I’m still deciding."

Gerald Meyers, a 40-year-old voter from Wisconsin, expressed frustration with the lack of clarity on how the candidates' policies would affect his finances. He said, "Nothing is clear to me, and I am really trying to follow it."

Keilah Miller, a 34-year-old Milwaukee voter who typically votes Democrat, admitted that Trump's performance was more compelling. "Trump’s pitch was a little more convincing than hers," she said. "I guess I’m leaning more on his facts than her vision."

Jason Henderson, a defense contractor and retired soldier from Arizona, questioned Harris' leadership abilities. "Trump had the more commanding presentation," he said. "There was nothing done by Harris that made me think she’s better. In any way."

While some of the undecided voters acknowledged concerns about Trump's behavior, they expressed a desire to hear more from Harris on how she differed from President Biden.

A 60-year-old voter from North Carolina expressed support for Harris, saying she met her expectations.

Despite being declared the winner by media pundits and polls, Harris' performance did not sway the opinions of these undecided voters. They remain uncertain about her capabilities and the direction she would take the country if elected.

A Fox News Digital panel of voters reacting to the debate gave Harris a narrow victory, with 12 raising their hands for her and 5 indicating they believed Trump won.

A CNN poll conducted after the debate also found that 63% of debate watchers believed Harris came out on top, compared to 37% for Trump.

However, the undecided voters interviewed by the New York Times emphasized their need for more clarity and a better understanding of Harris' vision and policies before making a final decision.
