On social media platforms like TikTok, Black Americans who enthusiastically support Harris have engaged in heated debates with anti-Israel activists who argue that her pro-Israel stance undermines her commitment to racial justice.
"I'm so sick and tired of Americans playing your identity politics," said TikTokker Rosol.s. "It's f---ing insane, a Black woman in f---ing presidency is not going to save us."

She went on to criticize Black Americans for their participation in oppressive systems, including the Israeli military. "Every f---ing race in f---ing America has oppressed us," she said.
In response, TikTokker Tori Grier argued that Black people have a right to prioritize their own interests and reject demands from outside groups. "These are people who feel that they are entitled to the support of Black people no matter what," she said.

Other social media users have expressed frustration over the seemingly contradictory stance of some Black women Democrats who support Harris while criticizing the Israeli government.

Pro-Palestinian activists have also taken aim at Harris's record on Israel, accusing her of complicity in the Biden administration's policies. "All you’re saying repeatedly and loudly is that genocide is not a dealbreaker for you," said pro-Palestinian activist @notyourlawyermd on TikTok.
Some uncommitted voters have warned that Harris's support for Israeli policies could damage the Democrats' electoral prospects. "She may lose enough support to deliver the election to Trump," said one panel member.
British Muslim TikTokker @pistachiochaii accused liberals of "weaponizing anti-blackness to defend the US empire" by supporting Harris's nomination. "She has very clearly stated that she won’t impose an arms embargo, and she was also bought out for $5 million by AIPAC," she said.
