Kamala Harris's Charlamagne Interview: A Master Class in Media Manipulation

Fox News host Jesse Watters dissects Vice President Kamala Harris's interview with Charlamagne tha God, arguing that it exposed her lack of substance and her attempts to manipulate the black vote.

Fox News host Jesse Watters has launched a scathing attack on Vice President Kamala Harris's interview with Charlamagne tha God, accusing her of being a hollow imitation of former President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.

Watters, on his show "Jesse Watters Primetime," argued that Harris's performance revealed her desperation to win over black voters, a demographic that has been crucial to Democratic electoral success.

"Kamala was supposed to be the pantsuit Messiah, but she's really more of an actress," Watters said. "She's imitating Barack, but there's one problem. She's more like Hillary, and the streets know it."

Watters cited Harris's clear preparation for the interview, with her schedule cleared for the 5:00 PM sit-down. However, he argued that her efforts were futile, as she failed to connect with the audience or provide any meaningful substance.

"The first question Charlemagne asked her, 'do you ever say anything new?'" Watters said. "Kamala thinks voters are too ignorant to get her message through their thick skulls. She has to repeat it like a hypnotist."

Watters also criticized Harris's response to questions about reparations for slavery, which she acknowledged wanting to provide but claimed she was unable to advocate for due to constraints.

"Translation – 'you're not getting reparations. I want to give you reparations. But they told me. I can't say that,'" Watters said. "What I can say is that I grew up in the middle class."

According to Watters, Harris's interview was a microcosm of the Democrats' failed attempts to secure the black vote in recent elections. He pointed to Hillary Clinton's ill-fated use of hot sauce and Joe Biden's controversial "you ain't black" comment as examples of the party's insensitivity to black concerns.

"They tried it again. They sent Biden in, and he told them, 'you ain't black,'" Watters said. "So Barack sent Harris to see 'tha God' hoping the third time's a charm."

Watters concluded by expressing his belief that Harris's interview with Charlamagne tha God was a "master class in media manipulation" and that it would ultimately fail to fool black voters.
