Kevin Costner's ex-wife, Christine Baumgartner, has confirmed her new romance with a family friend, Greg Shaw. The news comes just months after Costner and Baumgartner finalized their divorce in February.
Baumgartner, 49, confirmed her relationship with Shaw in an interview with People magazine. She said they met through mutual friends and have been dating for several months. "We're very happy," she said. "He's a wonderful man."
Costner and Baumgartner were married for 17 years and have three children together. They announced their separation in December 2021.
Meanwhile, Costner, 67, got teary-eyed during the 'Horizon' Cannes premiere on Wednesday. The film, which Costner directed and stars in, tells the story of a group of people who travel across the American West in the 1800s.
Costner told Variety that he was overwhelmed with emotion during the premiere. "It's a very personal film for me," he said. "It's about the American West and the people who lived there. I'm very proud of it."
'Horizon' is scheduled to be released in theaters on June 23.
