He wrote in a statement: "I will not sit back and be attacked by a dying network's one-sided ‘documentary’ about me in their desperate attempt for ratings. There's a proper channel to handle allegations against me and it’s not Channel 4."
Despite Spacey's objections, Channel 4 has defended its decision to air the documentary. "We are going ahead and broadcasting," a spokesperson told Fox News Digital.
The allegations presented in "Spacey Unmasked" are not new. Spacey was acquitted in July 2023 of sexual misconduct charges in the U.K. and has also denied allegations made by actor Anthony Rapp.
