Laura Ingraham Blasts Kamala Harris' Border Policy, Accuses Her of "Collateral Damage

Fox News host Laura Ingraham lambasted Vice President Kamala Harris' border policy on "The Ingraham Angle," accusing the administration of leaving Americans in small towns like Springfield, Ohio, to fend for themselves amid an influx of illegal immigrants.

Fox News host Laura Ingraham unleashed a scathing critique of Vice President Kamala Harris' border policy on Monday's "The Ingraham Angle," accusing the administration of a "collateral damage" approach that has left Americans in small towns feeling abandoned and vulnerable.

Ingraham opened her monologue by mocking Harris' upcoming speech, in which the vice president is expected to argue that she deserves reelection because she represents the future, while former President Donald Trump is the embodiment of chaos and a threat to democracy.

"Well, the implication must be that all is calm in America, with her in the co-pilot's seat," Ingraham quipped. "Her home state should be a bright beacon of joy and safety."

However, Ingraham painted a starkly different picture of the situation in Harris' home state of California, particularly in small towns like Springfield, Ohio, where she claimed the open border policy has led to an increase in crime and drug trafficking.

Ingraham accused the Biden-Harris administration of deliberately importing criminals and thugs into the country and dismissing the consequences as mere "collateral damage."

"Kamala's cabal does not care," she charged. "They knew that the open border would bring in a certain percentage of thugs and criminals, and they wrote it off. It's all just collateral damage, after all."

Ingraham pointed out that the vast majority of Americans are not insulated from the effects of open borders, unlike the elites who push for such policies.

"For the most part, the elites aren't affected by open borders," she said. "But regular Americans are, in small towns like Springfield, Ohio."

Ingraham questioned Harris' commitment to the safety of Americans, accusing her of abandoning them to fend for themselves.

"Kamala's answer? Well, sorry, you're on your own," Ingraham said. "Her marching orders from January 2021 and onward were to import as many people into the country as possible and by any means necessary."

Ingraham concluded her segment by calling out Harris for ignoring the plight of Americans who have suffered as a result of the open border policy.

"Kamala's victims. That's the focus of tonight's 'Angle,'" Ingraham declared. "They are the ones who have been left behind in the pursuit of a radical agenda that has put politics before people."

Ingraham's criticism of Harris' border policy echoes the sentiments of many Republicans who have accused the Biden administration of exacerbating the crisis at the border. The administration has struggled to contain the flow of illegal immigrants, and border apprehensions have reached record highs under Biden.

Harris has been tasked with leading the administration's efforts to address the root causes of migration, but her progress has been slow, and the situation at the border remains a major challenge for the administration.
