Laura Ingraham: NY v. Trump Cases Cratering, Judge Postpones Classified Docs Case

Fox News host Laura Ingraham argues that the credibility of the New York Attorney General's case against former President Trump is deteriorating. A judge has indefinitely postponed the classified documents case against Trump, and another court has agreed to review Trump's bid to disqualify the Georgia prosecutor investigating him.

Laura Ingraham: NY v. Trump Cases Cratering, Judge Postpones Classified Docs Case

Fox News host Laura Ingraham argued on Wednesday's "The Ingraham Angle" that the various cases against former President Trump are "collapsing," and suggested that they were intended to substitute for an actual Biden campaign.

Ingraham focused on the recent setbacks in the New York Attorney General's case against Trump, in which a judge has indefinitely postponed the classified documents case. She also highlighted the Georgia Court of Appeals' decision to review Trump's bid to disqualify Fani Willis, the prosecutor investigating him there.

"This is why choosing lawfare strategy in this was a loser in the first place," Ingraham said. "A judge isn't compelled to set a trial schedule to best facilitate one party's election hopes."

Ingraham criticized the "pundit-crats" for their outrage at the postponement of the classified documents case, which she said was caused by the fact that the Manhattan case against Trump is likely to continue for some time.

"Of course, it couldn't begin on May 20, as it was originally scheduled, because the Manhattan case probably won't even be wrapped by then," Ingraham said. "That's a fact that escapes the puny minds of the people criticizing this."

Ingraham also suggested that the cases against Trump were intended to damage his potential for a 2024 presidential run.

"Now, one by one, the cases that they thought would substitute for an actual Biden campaign, well, those cases are collapsing," Ingraham said. "And there's even a chance that a higher court could take the load off Fani. The Georgia Court of Appeals has agreed to review Trump's bid to disqualify Fani Willis, two months after the motion was rejected by Judge Scott McAfee. Well, that translates into potentially more delays of her fraudulent case."

Ingraham concluded by saying that the cases against Trump are "cratering" and that the "deep state" is "losing."

"The deep state is losing," Ingraham said. "They're losing because they're overplaying their hand. They're trying to use the law to take out their political opponents, and it's not going to work."
