Laura Ingraham Shreds Judge Merchan and Star Witness Michael Cohen

Fox News host Laura Ingraham unleashed a fiery attack on Judge Merchan and star witness Michael Cohen during her "Ingraham Angle" segment on Monday, criticizing their conduct in the ongoing NY v. Trump trial.

Ingraham began by highlighting Cohen's admission that he had inflated a contractor's invoice to the Trump Organization and pocketed the difference, calling it "shocking" and "a violation of trust."

"This is the guy that the prosecution is relying on to bring down President Trump?" Ingraham exclaimed. "He's a convicted perjurer and a tax evader. He secretly tapes and doesn't get permission from his clients. He lied on the stand about the reason he had a call with Trump security. And now, on top of all of that, he's admitted that he is a thief."

Ingraham went on to question the credibility of Cohen's testimony, suggesting that any legal expert worth their salt would view him as a compromised witness.

"The credibility of Michael Cohen is cooked," Ingraham asserted. "He's already been caught lying under oath. He's now admitted to stealing money. How can anyone take his word seriously?"

Ingraham also criticized Judge Merchan for his handling of the trial, which she characterized as unfair and biased against former President Trump.

"Judge Merchan has allowed the prosecution to present a parade of witnesses who have nothing to do with the charges against Trump," Ingraham said. "He's also allowed the prosecution to introduce evidence that is irrelevant to the case."

Ingraham concluded her segment by calling on Judge Merchan to reconsider his rulings and grant Trump a fair trial.

"Judge Merchan needs to get a grip on this trial and start making fair rulings," Ingraham said. "He needs to allow the defense to present its case without interference from the prosecution. And he needs to stop allowing the jury to be misled by irrelevant evidence."

Ingraham's comments come as the NY v. Trump trial continues to draw attention from both sides of the political spectrum. The trial is expected to continue for several more weeks, and it remains to be seen whether Ingraham's criticisms will have any impact on the outcome.
