Undeterred, the Lions came out firing in the second half. They scored touchdowns on their first two possessions, tying the game at 13-13. The first touchdown came on a 1-yard run by Jamaal Williams, while the second came on a 25-yard pass from Jared Goff to Amon-Ra St. Brown.

The Lions defense held the Cardinals scoreless in the second half, forcing four punts and an interception. The Lions also forced a fumble on the Cardinals' final possession of the game, sealing the victory.

Lions quarterback Jared Goff finished the game 26-of-41 for 256 yards and one touchdown, while running back D'Andre Swift rushed for 55 yards on 13 carries. Wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown led the Lions with seven receptions for 91 yards and a touchdown.

Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray was 22-of-34 for 250 yards and one touchdown, while running back James Conner rushed for 49 yards on 13 carries. Wide receiver Marquise Brown led the Cardinals with five receptions for 88 yards and a touchdown.

With the victory, the Lions improve to 2-1 on the season, while the Cardinals fall to 1-2. The Lions will host the Philadelphia Eagles next Sunday, while the Cardinals will travel to Carolina to face the Panthers.
