In a heartfelt message to fans, Brazil expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to cover two of the most passionate sports teams in the region. He stated, "It's been an incredible journey, and I'm filled with so much love and appreciation for the teams, the fans, and my colleagues at NBC Sports California."
Brazil joined NBC Sports California in 2011 and quickly became a fixture in the Bay Area sports scene. His knowledge and enthusiasm for both the A's and the Sharks were evident on his broadcasts, and he developed a strong rapport with both fan bases.
Off the air, Brazil is known for his community involvement and his passion for giving back. He has been involved with numerous charitable organizations and has served as an ambassador for the Oakland A's Community Fund and the San Jose Sharks Foundation.
