The latest update introduces a new gameplay mechanic called Elimination Choice Nodes. These nodes force players to make strategic decisions during combat. After a certain number of hits have been landed, players must swap out their current Champion for another one. The swapped-out Champion cannot be used for the remainder of the active Quest.
This mechanic adds an extra layer of challenge and forces players to carefully consider their team composition and play styles.
The update also brings a new side quest, the Beta Ray Battle Zone. This side quest challenges players to fight their way through a series of unique Battle Zones under Arcade's whimsical rules.
