Police in Kentucky are desperately searching for an 8-month-old baby girl who has been missing for weeks. Reynolds Station is approximately 90 miles southwest of Louisville. According to a Kentucky State Police spokesperson, Miya has not been seen by other family members since early May. Child protection services had been searching for the child and contacted police when they were unable to locate her.

The girl's mother, 29-year-old Tesla Tucker, and her father, 30-year-old Cage C. Rudd, were apprehended at a motel in Owensboro on Wednesday. They did not provide any information regarding the baby's whereabouts and were found in possession of a significant amount of drugs, including fentanyl.

"We attempted to interview the parents, but they are not cooperating with our investigation," said Trooper Corey King of the Kentucky State Police. He added that the authorities are unsure of the child's location and that there is a chance she is with other family members.

"There are numerous possibilities in a case like this," King explained. The troopers arrested and charged the couple with drug trafficking, possession, abandonment of a minor, and child abuse. They are currently being held at the Daviess County Detention Center. Rudd was also charged with possessing methamphetamine.

In March, Rudd was found guilty of two drug offenses, including possession of methamphetamine, and was placed on a year of supervised release by the Kentucky Department of Corrections.

Police have also charged Ricky Smith, who shared the couple's residence on Deanfield Church Road, in connection with the case. Smith, who resided with the couple at their home, is accused of using the property as a hub for drug trafficking. He has been charged with drug offenses, child abuse, and endangering the welfare of a child.

During their initial search, police discovered a variety of drugs at the residence. According to Kentucky State Police, Miya Tucker has brown hair, green eyes, and was thought to be under her parents' care the last time she was seen.

Anyone with knowledge of Miya's whereabouts is urged to contact 270-826-3312 immediately. The investigation is ongoing, and the authorities are dedicated to finding the missing infant and holding the suspects responsible for her disappearance.
