Strecker described Stonestreet as "nasty" and claimed that he was solely interested in promoting his partnership with Pepto-Bismol. She alleged that when she mentioned not being aware of his reason for appearing on the podcast, Stonestreet curtly responded, "Somebody didn't do their homework."

Strecker further stated that Stonestreet told her, "I said, 'I’m sorry. Am I getting paid by Pepto-Bismol? The answer is no. So that’s your job to figure out, not mine.'"
