A Massachusetts mother is speaking out about the horrific stabbing spree that left six people injured across two towns over the weekend, alleging that the suspect was "laughing the whole time" during the attack.

Lisa Dembowski says her daughters were among the four young females who were stabbed at an AMC movie theater in Braintree on Saturday night. The other victims were a 21-year-old female and a 28-year-old male who were attacked at a rest stop in Plymouth about an hour later.

Dembowski told reporters that she received a call from her sister informing her that her daughters had been stabbed and that she needed to get to the movie theater immediately.

"Honestly, I just got in my car and headed right there," Dembowski said. "They had just sat down. They had just got their concessions. And I guess he came up behind them in the row – they were in the second row – and he came up behind them."

"My oldest was leaned over to get something. He got her in the back and then my other daughter in the top of the chest. Then, my last daughter across her arm – laughing the whole time – and then got their friend and then ran off," Dembowski added.

Dembowski said her daughters are now "physically fine" but are "shaken up" and "terrified that they could just go to a movie on a Saturday night and this could happen, someone could just walk into a movie theater and do this."

After the movie theater attack, the suspect, identified as 26-year-old Jared Ravizza, is alleged to have driven to a rest stop along Route 3 in Plymouth and stabbed the two McDonald's employees.

"Investigators reviewed surveillance video from the McDonald's restaurant that appears to show Ravizza allegedly reach through the drive-thru window and stab the male victim with a large knife," the Plymouth County District Attorney's Office said. "Video then shows Ravizza leave the drive-thru in a black Porsche, park the car, go inside the McDonald's, and stab the second female victim."

Ravizza then allegedly fled the scene before being taken into custody around 7:15 p.m. in Sandwich, a town on Cape Cod.

Ravizza is now facing charges including assault with intent to murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and is set to make his first court appearance Tuesday.

The motive for the alleged stabbings is unclear, but police said that Ravizza had a "BOLO," or "Be On the Lookout" order, for his arrest in connection with other incidents.

The stabbing spree has shocked the communities of Braintree and Plymouth, leaving residents shaken and on edge.

"It's scary," said one resident. "You don't think something like this is going to happen in your town, but it does."

"My heart goes out to the victims and their families," said another. "I hope they get the justice they deserve."

As investigators continue to piece together the details of the attacks, several questions remain unanswered, including Ravizza's motive and any potential mental health issues he may have.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the stabbing spree to come forward.

The victims of the attacks are still recovering from their injuries, both physical and emotional. Their families and the entire community are rallying around them, offering support and prayers for their recovery.
