Pokémon Go Season 16: Dynamax Debuts, New Galar Pokémon Added

Pokémon Go Season 16 is coming soon with a host of exciting new features, including Dynamax, new Galar Pokémon, and more.

Season 16 of Pokémon Go is on the horizon, and it's bringing with it a major new feature: Dynamax. This highly-anticipated mechanic from the Pokémon Sword and Shield games will finally make its debut in Pokémon Go.

Dynamax is a temporary effect that can be used on certain Pokémon, boosting their size and attributes to maximum levels. It allows them to use powerful Max moves and participate in Max battles.

To enter Max battles, players must visit Power Spot locations and gather Max Particles. Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Skwovet, and Wooloo will be able to Dynamax in one-star Max battles, and Pokémon caught during Max battles (and their evolutions) can also be Dynamaxed.

In addition to Dynamax, Season 16 will also introduce new Pokémon from the Galar region, including Grookey, Scorbunny, Sobble, Dreepey, and their evolutions. These Pokémon will be added to the game as part of the GO All Out event.

Season 16 will also include several other notable updates, including:

* New Battle League updates

* A new Daily Adventure Incense that will attract different Pokémon depending on the time of day

* Event-exclusive bonuses and challenges

* Bug fixes and performance improvements

The introduction of Dynamax and other major features in Season 16 is seen as a response to player feedback. After some controversial changes at the end of the COVID-19 pandemic led to a decline in player count, Niantic has taken steps to address player concerns and re-energize the game.

These new updates are a testament to Niantic's commitment to listening to its player base and delivering the best possible experience for Pokémon Go fans.

Season 16 of Pokémon Go promises to be one of the most exciting yet, with the addition of Dynamax, new Galar Pokémon, and other highly-requested features. Niantic has clearly heard the feedback from its players and is committed to making Pokémon Go the best it can be.
