Prince Harry's Unforgivable Jabs at Queen Camilla Leave King Charles Hurt and Resentful

Royal expert Christopher Andersen reveals the devastating impact of Prince Harry's memoir, "Spare," on his relationship with King Charles III, particularly due to the harsh criticism of Queen Camilla. Charles is said to be deeply wounded by Harry's portrayal of his stepmother and is finding it difficult to forgive him.

Prince Harry's tell-all memoir, "Spare," has continued to create waves within the royal family, with royal experts claiming that his jabs at Queen Camilla have left King Charles III deeply hurt and resentful.

Christopher Andersen, author of the book "The King," told Fox News Digital that Charles finds Harry's criticism of Camilla unforgivable. In "Spare," Harry accuses Camilla of leaking private conversations to the media to enhance her own reputation, casting her as a villain in the family dynamic.

"I think people have to realize that the one thing that Charles finds unforgivable is criticism of Camilla," Andersen said. "There's no criticism of Camilla. And unfortunately for Harry... Harry said some pretty devastating things about her. He made it clear that he felt she was... the villain in the piece. I think that still bothers the king, and I don't know that it will be easy for him to [forgive]."

Andersen believes that Harry's resentment towards Camilla stems from his belief that she was responsible for the breakdown of his parents' marriage. In "Spare," he writes about his feelings of betrayal after his father married Camilla in 2005.

"In a funny way, I even wanted Camilla to be happy. Maybe she'd be less dangerous if she was happy?" Harry writes in the book.

Andersen adds that Harry's criticism of Camilla has also deeply affected his brother, Prince William. "They didn't want their father to marry Camilla," Andersen said. "They tried to talk him out of it... It took Charles forever, for decades, to get his mother to accept Camilla as his future bride."

In Andersen's view, the hardest person for Harry to make peace with is William, who has taken his brother's words very personally. William is said to be moody and firm in his beliefs, making it difficult for him to change his mind about Harry's actions.

The situation has created a rift within the royal family, with Charles struggling to maintain peace while William remains adamantly opposed to reconciliation. Harry's attempts to reach out to his father and brother have reportedly been met with silence, further deepening the divide.

As Charles prepares for his upcoming visit to Australia, the family tensions continue to hang heavy in the air. Harry's visit to London occurred shortly before Charles's trip, but they did not meet, despite being just a short distance apart.

Royal expert Ian Pelham Turner claims that it's unlikely William and Harry will reconcile anytime soon. "This is of no surprise to me as the bickering between the two brothers continues," Pelham Turner said. "And King Charles is occupied preparing for his Australian visit... Another nail in the royal coffin is when Prince William was seen at a charity helicopter event with none other than David Beckham, who was a friend of Harry's, too."

According to sources, Harry's calls and letters to his father go unanswered, and his attempts to connect with William through texts, calls, and messages are similarly ignored. With Charles's forgiveness seemingly out of reach and William adamantly refusing to reconcile, Harry finds himself isolated and estranged from his immediate family.
