Pompeo, now a Fox News contributor, appeared on "America Reports" to discuss the incident, which involved two Jordanians being arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on May 3. The pair was allegedly attempting to enter the base in a box truck under the guise of making a delivery.

"Something doesn't sound right about this," Pompeo said. "And the Biden administration has just chosen to hide it, delay the information, and obfuscate for who knows what reason."

The former Secretary of State questioned the procedures followed at the base, suggesting that apprehending suspects at the gate may not be the optimal time to detect malicious activities. He expressed concern about the lack of connection the suspects had to either Quantico or the United States.

"Look, those folks not only didn't have any connection to Quantico, they had no connection to the United States of America," Pompeo said. "I'd love to know what was on their phones. I'd love to know who they were communicating with. I'd love to know if they're part of a larger network."

Pompeo criticized the Biden administration for its handling of the incident, alleging a lack of transparency and a delay in releasing information. He emphasized the need for a full investigation into the breach and the potential threats it posed to a vital military facility like Quantico.

"We need to know the full scale of what the effort was to breach this important military facility," Pompeo said. "You're exactly right, John. Something doesn't sound right about this."

The incident has highlighted concerns about the security of military installations and the potential vulnerabilities posed by individuals who may be linked to terrorist organizations or other malicious actors. The Biden administration has a responsibility to provide a thorough accounting of the breach and to implement measures to enhance security at military bases nationwide.

The ongoing investigation into the Quantico breach attempt is expected to shed light on the motives and capabilities of the suspects involved. The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of vigilance and the need for robust security measures to protect sensitive military facilities from potential threats.
