Kamara initiated the onslaught with a five-yard touchdown run, followed by a 70-yard deep ball from Carr to receiver Rashid Shaheed. Kamara's fourth touchdown of the day came on a 13-play, 70-yard drive, consuming over seven minutes off the clock. The Cowboys were unable to keep pace, and Prescott was eventually benched in the fourth quarter in favor of backup Cooper Rush.

The victory elevates the Saints to 2-0 on the season, while the Cowboys fall to 1-1. Kamara's four touchdowns make him the first Saints player to achieve such a feat since Reggie Bush in 2006.
