In the second quarter, the Dolphins took the lead with a 1-yard touchdown run by running back Chase Edmonds. The Seahawks answered right back with a 53-yard touchdown pass from Smith to wide receiver DK Metcalf. The Dolphins added another field goal before halftime to cut the deficit to 17-13.

The third quarter was a defensive battle, with neither team able to score. In the fourth quarter, the Seahawks extended their lead to 24-13 with a 4-yard touchdown run by running back Ken Walker III. The Dolphins quickly responded with a 10-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Tua Tagovailoa to wide receiver Tyreek Hill.

The Dolphins had a chance to tie the game on their final drive, but Tagovailoa was intercepted by Seahawks cornerback Tariq Woolen. The Seahawks held on for the 31-23 victory, improving their record to 2-1 on the season.

With the win, the Seahawks have now won two straight games after starting the season 0-1. Smith has been a big part of the Seahawks' turnaround, completing 63.6% of his passes for 596 yards, four touchdowns, and two interceptions in three games. Lockett has also emerged as a reliable target, with 22 receptions for 292 yards and three touchdowns.

The Seahawks will look to continue their winning ways next week when they travel to the New Orleans Saints. The Saints are also 2-1 this season, so it should be a competitive matchup.
