A tragic crash in Pasadena, California, early Saturday claimed the lives of three individuals and left three others seriously injured. The incident involved a Tesla Model 3 carrying six passengers, which struck a curb, became airborne, and collided with a power pole and building.

The fatal single-vehicle crash occurred around 2:30 a.m. in a 35-mph zone. According to Lieutenant Anthony Russo of the Pasadena Police Department, the Tesla was traveling at a high speed when it apparently "failed to negotiate a slight curve."
