Realizing the power of the game to connect and support, Harold wrote an essay about ways to give back to the community. Inspired, he transformed his hobby into a philanthropic endeavor.

In March 2023, Harold hosted his first 3-on-3 basketball tournament. With the help of sponsors and a team of dedicated volunteers, he raised a substantial amount of money. All proceeds went directly to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP).

The success of the first tournament motivated Harold to organize a second in 2024. This time, he expanded the event and raised an impressive $13,000 for AFSP. He credits the support of his family, friends, and the community for the tournament's success.

Harold's unwavering commitment to his mission is evident in his plans for the third annual Harold's Hoops for Hope tournament on March 22, 2025. The event will feature an auction, food trucks, and special guest appearances by athletes.
