Deario Wilkerson, a 20-year-old suspect sought for a fatal shooting in April, attempted to conceal himself in an attic, unbeknownst to the agents who were closing in on him.
Wilkerson had been evading capture since April 2, when he allegedly shot and killed Troy Cunningham. On Monday, August 26, a task force investigating Wilkerson's whereabouts tracked him to a home in Memphis. The agents commenced their search within the residence.
