Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott's divorce proceedings continue, with the former couple facing a lawsuit over an unpaid bank loan from 2012.
Despite finalizing their divorce, Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott remain entangled in a legal battle stemming from an unpaid bank loan that has accumulated over $400,000 in debt. City National Bank filed a breach of contract suit in 2016 against Spelling and McDermott, and recent court documents obtained by Fox News Digital reveal that $219,796.66 is owed by Spelling, while McDermott is responsible for $202,066.10 due to interest.
The lawsuit alleged that the couple owed an initial balance of $185,714.05, plus interest and late charges totaling $188,803.38, at the time of filing in December 2016. The unpaid balance continues to accrue interest, attorneys' fees, and costs.
Representatives for Spelling and McDermott have declined to comment on the matter.
Meanwhile, McDermott has filed for spousal support from Spelling in their divorce battle. He is also seeking joint legal and physical custody of their five children. McDermott cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their split, with the date of separation marked as July 7.
McDermott has since begun dating Lily Calo, a senior account executive at health brand Conscious Community Global.
Spelling filed for divorce from McDermott on March 29, citing June 17 as the date of separation. She requested spousal support from McDermott and asked to terminate the court's ability to award spousal support to him.
Spelling also requested full custody of the children along with joint legal custody.
The former couple met in 2005 while filming "Mind Over Matter." They divorced their respective spouses and married in May 2006, less than a month after their divorces were finalized.
