Amidst soaring crime rates, Florence McCrary, a California mother whose son was tragically killed by a stray bullet in 2016, is spearheading a recall effort against Alameda County District Attorney Pamela Price, a Soros-funded prosecutor known for her leniency towards criminals.

The harrowing loss of her 22-year-old son, Terrence McCrary Jr., has fueled McCrary's unwavering pursuit of justice. She recently spoke out on "Fox & Friends Weekend," expressing her dismay over Price's decision to abruptly drop the murder charge against her son's alleged killer last year.

"It was unbelievable," McCrary told co-host Pete Hegseth. "He was charged with both murders under the previous district attorney, but Price's office made a deal with the shooter for voluntary manslaughter."

McCrary's pain is compounded by the knowledge that her son's life has been "diminished to absolutely nothing." She lamented the lack of support from officials who are entrusted with protecting the community.

Under Price's leadership, Alameda County has witnessed a surge in violent crime. According to the Oakland Police Department, violent crime has risen by 11% year to date, with robberies alone increasing by 34% in the first three months of 2023.

McCrary believes that Price's soft-on-crime policies have emboldened criminals, creating a pervasive fear among residents. She is not alone in her experience; many other families have faced similar circumstances under Price's watch.

"They not only deal with the fear of it, they have all been going through very similar circumstances," McCrary said. "Their cases have been diminished to almost nothing, never getting their chance to have a day in court."

The recall effort against Price has garnered significant support, with nearly 75,000 validated signatures. The Alameda County Board of Supervisors is expected to set an election date soon.

McCrary is determined to make her voice heard, demanding accountability for the rampant crime and the devaluation of human life. She believes that the voice of the people will prevail in removing Price from office and restoring a sense of justice to the community.

California Governor Gavin Newsom has also taken measures to address the soaring crime rates in Oakland by sending prosecutors to the city.
