Trump-Harris Race Set to Be a "Dogfight" Amidst Election Interference Claims

Fox News host Jesse Watters discusses the Biden administration's attempt to resurface Russian election interference allegations, despite the lack of evidence, comparing it to previous debunked claims.

Fox News host Jesse Watters has expressed skepticism over the Biden administration's revival of Russian election interference allegations, labeling the claims as a "dogfight" and accusing the government of employing the same discredited sources.

"You'd say, Jesse, Democrats are stupid, but they're not that stupid," Watters said on his program, "Jesse Watters Primetime." "No one would believe it."

Watters pointed to previous instances where similar allegations against Russia were later proven false, such as the 2016 "Russia collusion" narrative and the claims that the COVID-19 virus originated in a Wuhan lab.

"They're doing it again, and they're using the same guys they always use," Watters said, referring to NBC News correspondent Ken Dilanian.

Watters accused Dilanian of being a "CIA agent or puppet," citing his history of reporting on unsubstantiated allegations and his close ties to the intelligence agency.

"Ken Dilanian was busted sending the CIA drafts of stories before he published them," Watters asserted. "The L.A. Times had to disown Dilanian after he was outed as a CIA collaborator."

Watters further argued that the United States has a long history of interfering in other countries' elections, including through financial support for political parties and the orchestration of coups.

"The CIA used to buy off entire political parties in Italy and Japan, literally handing out cash as suitcases of cash to politicians," Watters said. "And has staged violent coups in Iran, Guatemala, Vietnam, Indonesia, countless countries and pumped out American propaganda throughout Europe and Asia for decades."

Watters concluded by expressing amusement at the notion that Russia, with its limited resources, could significantly impact the upcoming presidential election.

"And we're now in an all-hands-on-deck situation because of a few Russian websites," Watters said with a chuckle. "It's like, give me a break."

The Biden administration has maintained that it is committed to safeguarding the integrity of the election process and has vowed to take all necessary steps to prevent foreign interference. However, critics have questioned the administration's motives, accusing it of using unsubstantiated claims to undermine the legitimacy of political opponents.
