Copenhaver shared a statement with Fox News, extending his condolences to the family of Corey Comperatore, who was killed in the shooting.
"We also continue to offer our thoughts and prayers for the full and speedy recovery of Mr. David Dutch and for the full recovery of President Donald Trump," Copenhaver said.

Copenhaver expressed his gratitude to his caregivers, first responders, and the hospital staff for their tireless efforts in saving his life and assisting his recovery. Thomas Crooks, a 50-year-old man, was fatally shot by Trump supporters after opening fire and injuring Copenhaver, David Dutch, and Corey Comperatore at the rally. Crooks' motive remains under investigation by federal authorities.
