"I think it's inappropriate," Latimer said. "I think it's really important that we have a level of decorum and professionalism in our politics."
Latimer, a former state senator and county legislator, is considered a moderate Democrat. He has criticized Bowman, a member of the progressive "Squad" in Congress, for his support of policies such as defunding the police and Medicare for All.
